Financial Planning Associate

My Quick Stats

What’s your background? Growing up in a big Irish family, I have seen firsthand the effects that money can have. I grew up in Orlando, Florida with my four sisters and my parents. When I was 15, my father suffered from a stroke which led to a large financial and emotional burden being placed on our family. We didn’t have a plan in place for this type of event because we assumed it would never happen to us. When I went to college I decided to pursue finance, specifically the financial services industry, so that I could serve individuals and families. My goal is to help families prepare for the unknown and make sure that they always have a plan in place.

What degrees do you hold? I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. Additionally, I will begin the coursework for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in the Fall of 2019.

Win any awards? While at Florida State, I was actively involved with, and served on the executive board of several honor societies such as Phi Eta Sigma, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Golden Key and consistently made the Dean’s List.

What do you do for fun? Two of my favorite activities are being outside and spending time with animals. My first job was on a farm which led to me adopting my kitten, Munch. I try to spend as much time as possible outside whether that’s biking under Tallahassee’s canopy roads or soaking up the sunshine at New Smyrna Beach.

What charities do you support? I support City Church.
